[archive] C$COPY using ThinClient

[Migrated content. Thread originally posted on 25 August 2005]

I have experienced some faults using C$COPY and ThinClient connection on 100 Mbps LAN (server: Linux; clients: winxp H&P). Sometimes the copy fails ( files created with size zero) but no errors return from the runtime ( I use the 'GIVING w-result format). I noted it happens more frequently if I 'click the mouse' during "C$COPY"; the files transferred are not very large ( from 1K to 200K). Some hints, tips ... ????
