[archive] Calling MAPI32.DLL with Thin Client

[Migrated content. Thread originally posted on 23 November 2006]

Is it actually possible ? It seems that some of the MAPI32 Library functions need to pass arguments BY REFERENCE. The Acuconnect User's guide states that you may never pass a pointer by reference under thin client.
Anyone figured out how to accomplish this ?
Thanks

It is possible to use dynamic memory with the Thin Client. Check the syntax for the CALL verb and the phrase WITH SIZE
