[archive] GUI on Linux?

[Migrated content. Thread originally posted on 18 December 2005]

[re-posted from the "Linux and Unix" forum]

In the latest newsletter from Acu it has a case study about the Archdiocese schools using Acucobol with thin client in a Linux environment. One sentence reads:

It was also able to provide a GUI on Linux

Does anyone know if this is referring to running the thin client itself in Linux? Or is it just referring to the back-end running on a Linux server?
