[archive] Thin Client - Incompatible server version

[Migrated content. Thread originally posted on 19 September 2007]

Hi,
I'm sure someone has run into this problem previously, but I can't find an answer.

What is being compared when I get this error when running a Thin Client program? acurcl.ini? acurcl.cfg?

"Incompatible server version"

Thanks,
John

RE: [archive] Thin Client - Incompatible server version

So something on the server is being compared to something else called "The thin client protocol version"? We have 6.2 running on both sides so where can I find these "somethings".

This is embedded inside the application, you cannot look this up. If you run acuthin -v and acurcl -v and runcbl -v and all show the same... That is odd.
