[archive] Thin Client and Networks

[Migrated content. Thread originally posted on 12 November 2007]

Hello everyone, we've noticed that thin client is higly suscettible of network communication stability: if LAN or Web connection is not stable and constant Thin and Webthin quickly enters in a dead or zombie state. Client or server doesen't retry to reestablish communication with the "loosen side". Has someone experienced a way to tune Thin or AGS_SOCKET communication in more efficient way in this extreme cases?
Thanks in Advance, Giovanni.
