[archive] Thinclient on a PDA

[Migrated content. Thread originally posted on 14 October 2005]

Hello all

Does anyone know if it is possible to install the ThinClient on a PDA ?

Fx. a HP iPaq with Windows Mobile 2003 software and GPRS for Internet access.

RE: [archive] Thinclient on a PDA

For the time being, Thin Client is not supported by any PDA. The closest you get to native hosting is if you have a device with Windows Tablet PC. This will host Thin Client as well as the regular Windows runtime.

A circumvention some has used with success is to use Windows terminal server and the remote desktop client in Windows Mobile.
