[archive] Windows Key & D (desktop)

[Migrated content. Thread originally posted on 01 February 2009]

We have users who want to use the Windows Key + D to get to their desktop. Pressing the key works fine and all applications are pushed to the task bar (minimized). The issue comes when the user selects the application they want to open next. It does not matter what app they start next the cobol GUI window will reappear behind the selected app.

We have a login screen (set to Initial) and multiple other screens (set to floating). We would like to show the minimize button only (no max or exit) and have it minimize all screens (according to what the user has done they could have multiple floating screens up).

Any help would be appreciated.
