[archive] Word Print Dialogue using ActiveX

[Migrated content. Thread originally posted on 15 February 2005]

Hi,

Is it possible using Word.def to open the Word Print Dialogue, so the user can select the printer and other definitions for that printer?
If so, can someone please give me the command to use?

Tnx

RE: [archive] Word Print Dialogue using ActiveX

I suppose you will have to use the Dialog class with the appropriate enumerator, e.g. for instance wdDialogFilePrint.

Suppose you have an instance: myDialog you would:

MODIFY myDialog @Type = wdDialogFilePrint.
MODIFY myDialog Execute().

I am not sure, haven't tried this, just assuming. If it doesn't work, go check the Office development website at Microsoft and try to find an example, then we can translate that.
