[archive] deployment problem

[Migrated content. Thread originally posted on 07 March 2006]

I created an application using acubench in which a report reads from two data files, opens a print preview pane and then allows the report to be printed from the preview pane. It works fine in the development IDE but when it is deployed using acuthin the datafile for the grid is not read and the grid is not written to. The preview pane opens with a generic web browser error page stating the "page is unavailable. The web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adust your browser settings." When I go to the program files however and open the report's .html file, the program has read and written the data to the main part of the report but has not read or written data file for the grid.

Other screens in the application can open the data files and read them as well as accept input and write to them. The operating system we use is Windows.

I have been researching and trying things for two weeks but cannot figure this out. Does anyone have any ideas? I do have the acubenchprint.dll both on the server and on the client pc's.

Thanks in advance for any ideas or suggestions.
