Exporting shadow volumes...

I'm playing with Filr. I'm exporting volumes for NFS and we're using shadow volumes? If I export ".../home" do I also need to export its associated shadow volume? How will this work?

Re: Exporting shadow volumes...

The NFS protocol itself is currently not supported by Filr, only CIFS and NCP are. Are you running OES2 or OES11?
Guess you have a NCP share set on /home called like "Home", or at least that is what you could do running OES. Filr could be pointed to the NCP volume then. If you have a DST shadow behind this ithat would be no issue and should work fine as Filr looks at the NCP (or CIFS for the matter) path.

Never mind, I was pointing to the wrong things at the wrong time. I confused storage necessary for the appliance to run with users' data location. Thanks anyway.
