FILR 1.1 Mac desktop client - very high CPU usage.

After successfully using the FILR 1.1 desktop client (Mac OSX) 10.9) for few days I found my Mac Finder was becoming unresponsive and other open applications were very slow. I checked ‘Activity Monitor’ and found the FILR process was running at 100% of CPU (in fact sometimes over 100% which seems odd.

Eventually I uninstalled the FILR app and associated files and then re-installed. The same thing has happened again and once again my Mac is pretty much unusable with the FILR processs running.

The folders that are set to sync are not particularly large (about 4GB) and the day to day changes are minimal but the sync process seems to run all day.

I found an older thread about this problem but there was no answers:

Any thoughts ?
