Hi,

I just looked at the "upgrading" video and I didn't see anything about
certificate.

Is it in the backup process because it's not a real upgrade but a new VM
creation with backup restore.

Thanks.

Does this 1.1 release of Filr have the NSS and BASH patches baked in?

Your existing certificates should survive the upgrade. The upgrade involves using new appliances with old disks that were used for /vastorage or /vashare.

When I upgraded my home Filr small deployment to 1.1 it brought over
the SSL cert I had previously installed. No problems.

The readme states: "Ensure that all Filr-targeted OES 11 SP1 servers
have at least the December 2012 Scheduled Maintenance Update applied."

We are still stuck at SP1 so its a concern for us. Yast is showing no
available patches, so we assume its installed, but want to be sure. I'm
trying to figure out how to verify if I have this installed or not -
anyone know how to find this out?

One option that MAY work is to see when the latest patches were applied.
If during or after 2013-12, then you're probably good:

rpm -qa --last | head

yeah, that gave me an idea to grep our versions of the rpm in the latest
scheduled maintenance and we have those installed, so I think we are good
