That's in 1.1... you can e-mail a file link to someone without making
the file a public share.

??? I think i have to check with the technical preview.

I want all the functionality of a (public) share (e.g. Expire), but do not
want the share visible for the guest user under Shared with Me.
You need to know the exact url to access the share.

Normally a recipient can hide a share to cleanup the lists. I want that the
creator of a share can specify if the share is visible in the shared with Me
list.

I really hope this is already in 1.1

That's exactly what we're planning with file link sharing. When you
share a file link you still get to set an expiration if you like,
without making the document available as a public share. This should
be available in the first technical preview build once we start the TP.
