Setting up Filr

I am setting up Filr in a small deployment configuraton. I am able to log into the web GUI and after clicking on the Server Configuration icon I select Small Deployment. I enter a password for MySQL and click Next. I click Next on the Default Locale screen and then Finish. I then get an error saying "Unable to set up admin password". Does the MySQL password need to be a certain number of characters or have non-alpha characters?

Re: Setting up Filr

So I blew away the vm and started from scratch. This time I watched it as it was configuring itself after powering on. I saw an error message about MySQL flash quickly acros the screen. Is there a log I can look in to see what the error message was?

Hi,

All the logs are under /var/opt/novell pick an directory.
Most likely /var/opt/novell/tomcat-filr/logs/catalina.out.

Re: Setting up Filr

Figurd out the problem. Our test VMWare host is only 4.0.0. I was able to create the Filr server on one of our production VMWare 5x hosts.

Yes, vSphere 4.1 or higher is required.
