Why does hitting the back button ask me to log back in?

Logged into https://filr.novell.com and went a few levels down in a netfolder. Wanted to go back up one level and hit the back button on my Firefox browser. The Login box popped up. But if I look in the right hand corner, it still shows my name, it knows I am logged in. If I hit the forward button, I am back in? THAT the? Hitting the forward button was the only way I could get back in with out putting in my user name and password.

Yeah you can't really use back/forward to navigate and instead need to
the breadcrumbs or the up arrow button next to the current folder name.

Re: Why does hitting the back button ask me to log back in?

No way to fix that? It works fine in IE. Just takes you back to the main myFiles section. Firefox and Chrome give the login page. Why would IE work but FF and Chrome not. Should the experience not be the same across supported browsers?

Hmm... yes you would think it should be the same. I'd say go ahead and
file a bug in Bugzilla and see what engineering says.
