Audit Assistant obliterates issue suppressions?

I diligently suppressed false positives in SSC, clicked Audit Assistant button and forgot about the rest.  When I came back to the same application's dashboard, I saw all my suppressed issues back.  The comment history had this,

Changed AA_Prediction to Not Predicted
Conflict Resolved in favor of the most recent changes

It would be nice if someone explained the point of the "conflict resolution" policy.  I fail to see why Audit Assistant would revert my suppressions.  Was not the point of AA to learn from manual suppressions?
 
I will revert my earlier (experimental) change of the policy and restart SSC.

Did you ever figure out why this happened? Have you started using AA since then?
