Could not find specified resource of type Project

We encountered a strange issue happen when we try to modify application profile.
Inside logs we found multiple calls to the Rest API  http://hostname/ssc/api/v1/projects/{projectId}
followed by this error {"message":"Could not find specified resource of type Project.","responseCode":409,"errorCode":-20021}

So we tried to check if a Project ID exist using this call
http://hostname/ssc/api/v1/projects/
and the response was positive as follow
     {

   "data":[
      {
         "_href":"http://hostname/ssc/api/v1/projects/3",
         "createdBy":"user1",
         "name":"Application intranet",
         "description":"Applicazione Backoffice Ecommerce fornitori.",
         "id":3,
         "creationDate":"2019-05-14T08:54:41.000+0000",
         "issueTemplateId":"Prioritized-HighRisk-Project-Template"
      },
      {
         "_href":"http://hostname/ssc/api/v1/projects/1",
         "createdBy":"user1",
         "name":"Application extranet",
         "description":"",
         "id":1,
         "creationDate":"2019-04-05T10:21:28.000+0000",
         "issueTemplateId":"Prioritized-HighRisk-Project-Template"
      }
],
   "count":2,
   "responseCode":200,
   "links":{
      "last":{
         "href":"http://hostname/ssc/api/v1/projects?start=0"
      },
      "first":{
         "href":"http://hostname/ssc/api/v1/projects?start=0"
      }
   }
}

We don't understand why SSC server stucks in loop with this call and what we can do to fix it ?!?!

Re: Could not find specified resource of type Project

How have you requested the API to list all applications? Just calling the URL through browser?

Re: Could not find specified resource of type Project

Yes  through browser, just to check if the Project ID exists

Have you add the token to authorize? Check your documentation:

http://<hostname>:<port>/ssc/html/docs/docs.html#!/overview/

Re: Could not find specified resource of type Project

Raphael my problem is not to call API from a browser, i've just checked.

The problem is from server side, actually the frontend webapp make calls to the SSC server with API, as i reported before, and receive response code 409. I found the issue inside logs.

Re: Could not find specified resource of type Project

You receive the same 409 HTTP error when call the API specifying the project id?

Because as you mentioned, the request that process that works correct is for list all applications.

That's no a error description when you try to save a application profile?

Re: Could not find specified resource of type Project

Hello Andrea,

Were you able to find a fix for this? I'm running into the same issue and am using their own Swigger UI page for their REST API, so it's already authenticated. 🙂

Thanks.
