Fortify Jenkins Plugin with SSC

Jump to solution

Is there a way to not have to manually approve in SSC the artifact upload after an analysis from Jenkins? The JenkinsToken was applied to C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 7.0\webapps\ssc\WEB-INF\internal\servicecontext.xml as per instructions in the  attached 4.21 documentation.

Hi Satish,

Unfortunately we cannot change the setting to be higher than 10%. However, we can make a change that will never check the code changes at all. To enable that you go to Projects--> Select the project--> View Details-->General --> Analysis Result processing Rules. On that page click the Edit button There you can uncheck the box " Require approval if file count differs by more that 10%" and " Require approval if line count differs by more that 10%" .

Hi Satish,

Once you upload your FPR to SSC and if it requires you to approve the upload you should be seeing a button called "Approve Upload ". You will be seeing the "Approve Upload" button at the following location Projects--> Artifacts--> Select the FPR --> And if the FPR requires an approval the button will not be grayed out and you should be able to approve the upload. In the screenshot below because the code base hasn't changed more than 10%  the "Approve button" in the below screenshot has been grayed out

Can the default 10% be changed to something higher? If so, is it on a global level or on a per project basis?
