Hello everyone!
I'm installing WebInspect Enterprise on Windows Server 2012 R2 and in the last steps of configuration when I inform the SSC URL the wizard tells me "Administrator user "admin" is not an Administrator in SSC". But it really does.
If I inform a SSC 4.2 URL it works fine.
Does anyone experienced this issue? Does anyone knows if it's a know issue?
Regards
André

Hi Andre,
SSC and WIE are very particular in that their versions must be matched very precisely because of the way they communicate via web services In your case, this error is a bit misleading because as you mentioned, your admin account has the administrator role. The error really just means that the initializer is receiving something back from SSC which is does not understand...this is because of differences between the SSC 4.2 and SSC 4.3 service interface. If you want to install WIE 10.3, you must pair it with SSC 4.2. However, it sounds like the best solution for you would be to install WIE 10.4, which would be compatible with your SSC 4.3 version.
WIE 10.1 - SSC 4.0
WIE 10.2 - SSC 4.1
WIE 10.3 - SSC 4.2
WIE 10.4 - SSC 4.3
Thanks
Rick
