How to exclude a file using SCA Visual Studio plugin

I am trying to exlude a file using the Visual Studio plugin, but I am not sure I'm doing it right. I created a cpp file with a vulnerability, and added the following to the Translate arguments (I also tried it on the Scan arguments):

"-exclude" "Exclude.cpp"

The file still shows up on the Analysis Results.

Thank you.

Re: How to exclude a file using SCA Visual Studio plugin

Hi,

Please share the version of SCA being used.

Try the same in latest version of SCA 18.20 or earlier one 18.10.

In addition, was the absolute path provided for the source file to be excluded?

Re: How to exclude a file using SCA Visual Studio plugin

I am using 18.20.

I tried the following syntax in the SCA Translate arguments:
"-exclude" "C:\Users\MyUser\Documents\Sample1\Exclude.cpp"

But it still showed up in the Analysis Report. Thanks.
