Issues installing xcode plugin

Hi, I've attempted to install the xcode plugin but it is giving me the following message:

iMac:bin 375csptssce$ bash UpdateXcodeCompatibilityUUIDS.sh

USING XCODE_APP_PATH: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/../..

Detected Xcode Version: 7.3.1

Supported Version: FALSE

Unsupported version detected.

I'm using Xcode 7.3.1 and I have the 16.11 SCA installed.

How do I get the plugin installed? Thanks!

Re: Issues installing xcode plugin

Hi Aaron,

I was having the same issue.

This is how I resolved it:

Restart the mac. After restarting the mac open terminal and paste 'UpdateXcodeCompatibilityUUIDS.sh' then hit enter.

Please do not paste the single quotes, just paste UpdateXcodeCompatibilityUUIDS.sh then hit enter.

After everything in the terminal completes, try opening Xcode and see if you see Fortify in the menu.

Hope this works.

Best Regards,

Derek G

Re: Issues installing xcode plugin

Our team is having the same issue, with the same parameters (SCA 16.11 & XCode 7.3.1). Using UpdateXcodeCompatibilityUUIDS does not solve the issue:

USING XCODE_APP: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/../..

Detected Xcode Version: 7.3.1

Supported Version: FALSE

Unsupported version detected

Re: Issues installing xcode plugin

Hi.

In my case,

Open the "UpdateXcodeCompatibilityUUIDS.sh" file for vi or vim or text editor.

Go to about 7 line,

XCODE_SUPPORTED_VERSIONS={"6.4" "7.0" "7.1" ..."7.2.1" "7.3"}

Insert the "7.3.1" in the line.

XCODE_SUPPORTED_VERSIONS={"6.4" "7.0" "7.1" ..."7.2.1" "7.3" "7.3.1"}

You can retry to install the xcode plugin.
