Kotlin User Guide

Jump to solution

Hi all,

Is there anyone in the community who has tried to scan Kotlin source code yet?

I understand it is released as a technical preview but I am unable to find any info on the user guide provided on how to get about scanning it.

Is it similar to the way Android Java was scanned with gradlew?

With Thanks,

Poh Peng

Hello Poh,

Kotlin was initially available in SCA 20.1 as a technical preview but recently security content was released (2020.q2) that would allow you to find vulnerabilities in your Kotlin applications.

In the SCA user guide it’s mentioned that you can translate Kotlin using the same methods as for the Java code (under section “Translating Java Code” @ page 42).

Best regards,

Anca
