Registry key not found error in my logs. What is causing this and how can I fix it?

Hi,

I am getting this error message in my logs, eventhough, I am still able to run my scans, I want be sure that everything that needs to be scanned is getting scanned.

Here is the error that I am getting.

[2014-10-28 13:33:03 com.fortify.sca.util.WindowsRegistry.execute() Thread-12 Master FINE]
Command: "reg" "query" "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A" "/v" "InstallationFolder"
stdout:

stderr: ERROR: The system was unable to find the specified registry key or value.

Any help is a big help.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Ghost,

That kind of error will come up every once in awhile.  When I've asked support about it, they describe it as a benign error that can be ignored.  Hope that helps.
