Resetting a Service Account Password

How do I reset a service account password?

@missharding in order to provide further assistance can you be more specific in what service account you are needing to change the password for?

 A service account was set up for an application to upload scan results to SSC however no one knows the password.

If the account is a local account in SSC to change the password, you will need to login to SSC an administrator and you will see an Administration tab at the top of the webpage.  

Administration >Users > Local > select user > edit > Change Password

If you are suing an application to upload you may be using and Token in that case you can't retrieve the password and you will have to generate an new token for that user and add it to your application.

Administration > Token Management > New
