SCA Scan Picking up Extral Assemblies

I have a scan running on a specific Dot net solution. There are other assemblies that are not part of the solution in sub directories under the solution. The scan is picking up the assemblies in the sub directories but only some of them??? Is this normal behavior or is there a way to exclude/include only specific assemblies?
