SSC 17.20 on SQL Server 2012

Is anyone successfully running SSC 17.20 on SQL Server 2012?  According to the documentation SQL Server 2012 isn't supported however I really want to upgrade.  We don't have SQL Server 2016 at my organization right now so moving to SQL Server 2016 might take a while.

I have SSC Server 17.20 deployed with MSSQL 2012, but only on an internal demo image used by our Fortify Presales team.  As they say, "just good enough".  However, it is unsupported and it is also possible there are issues behind the scenes that I have not seen because of the limited scope of use for this installation.
