Scanning typescript and JavaScript code

Hi,
If I write com.fortify.sca.
Phase0HigherOrder.
Languages=javascript, typescript during Fortify translation, does it automatically select typescript and JavaScript files from the project? Also even if JavaScript files are not present , but I specified both javascript, typescript in translation step, does translation take more time to search JavaScript files or it is smart enough to skip those and only puts effort in translating js files ? Or do I need to separately create the translation commands based on JS or typescript as I am concerned about the translation time .
