Truclient and Browser patch for WebInspect 10.50
There were two Microsoft patches released recently which have clobbered our TruClient (Firefox) tool in WebInspect versions 10.x. These are KB3126587 and KB3126593.
Common signs that you are affected include TruClient opening on start of WebInspect, TruClient or Firefox rendering engine failing to record, TruClient and Firefox opening separately of one another when Recording a Macro or Workflow, Scan Log messages indicating "failed to launch browser", and perhaps scans that run but that fail to find any web pages.
We are currently formulating a SmartUpdate patch for the user community, but at this time there are a handful of ways to correct this. One way is to reverse those two KB installs. Another is to replace the /browser/ folder with a custom set from Fortify Support.

Hi Hans,
Could you please let me know if this issue is resolved? Thanks.
Best regards,

I believe this was corrected by the 16.10 release of WebInspect (English).
