Re: WebInspect support Windows10?

No, WebInspect 10.50 was released in Fall 2015 and it does not support Windows 10.  See the attached Fortify 4.40 System Requirements document covering all of that Fall release of products.

  • Windows 7 with SP1 - Recommended
    Windows 8 or 8.1
    Windows Server 2008 R2 with SP1
    Windows Server 2012 or 2012 R2

We are due for the next release this Spring 2016, but as yet there has been no mention of the What's New materials nor Release Notes for this upcoming "16.10" release.  The version numbering will be changing, per the attached document, jumping from WebInspect 10.50 and our Fortify SAST products version of 4.40 to 16.10 across the board for all of our DAST and SAST products.

Re: WebInspect support Windows10?

With the release of WI 16.10, it seems Windows 10 is still not an option.

According to the doco, the following are currently supported :

Windows Windows 7 with SP1 (Recommended)
Windows 8 or 8.1
Windows Server 2008 R2 with SP1
Windows Server 2012 or 2012 R2

Does anyone have any further/recent updates in regards to Windows 10 support.

Thanks.

Re: WebInspect support Windows10?

That's correct - Windows 10 is not yet officially supported but many users have succesfully run WebInspect on Windows 10, so it may work for you.
