Where are the Webinspect tutorials?

I am looking for the WebInspect tutorials referred to on the WebInspect download page:  HP WebInspect: Download HP WebInspect Software

One of our Support staff is hunting these down for you.  Apparently the link was altered with the latest WebInspect release.  I believe that Fortify Support is investigating a way to host those videos on this Protect724 site.

Hi Alan,

Unfortunately, the WebInspect download site points to obsolete tutorials that we have removed.  We are now working on a video library, which will include new WI tutorials.  We'll let our customers know when these become available.  In the meantime, we hope our documents and our support staff can meet your needs.

I am not sure if you got the items you desired on the WebInspect.  I do know that we recently updated the product from 10.20 to 10.30 and with that HP Software - ESP University did update our courseware as well.  Along with that we are introducing in the near future a HP ASE certification in WebInspect.

I'm also looking for the tutorials. I just installed the trial version of WebInspect and the links to the tutorials don't work, as noted above.

I appreciate HP trying to sell me some training, but I'm not at that point yet. I'm only evaluating the product and was hoping to view a couple of quick tutorials to get started.

As I mentioned earlier in the chain HP Software does offer full training opportunities for individuals and organizations.   Additionally we now have ASE Certifications for the WebInpsect product.  But for your initial needs I would recommend on our Product site our site URL http://www8.hp.com/us/en/software-solutions/webinspect-dynamic-analysis-dast/index.html.

All three of these videos can be found under the “Get Started Now” portion of the site.  The First is the Trail License and Installation Video under the “WebInspect Install”.  Which I would assume you can skip as your message states you already installed the Trail License.

The Second one I would recommend is the “Guided Scan” Video.  This is one will walk an individual through their first scan and how to create a login macro as well.

Finally, a more detailed look at the Application is under the “Get Start” portion.  This longer basic video will help with understanding the basic tool.
