Is this an upgrade from a previous version of SSC?

Looking at the logs, the failure to startup is caused by some missing config in the database which should have been added by generating migration SQL and running it against the database. If this was an upgrade, did you generate and run the migration SQL script? After doing that, you should then seed the process template bundle.

Hi Josh,

No I didn’t run the migration script. I missed that due to the fact that we first where installing 4.21.

The fortify server is a new installation, the db is a copy of an existing 4.21 database.

I will create the migration script and run it on the database

Thank you.

Hi Josh,

Our db Admin run the conversion script, but it’s full of errors.

See attachement.

I assume this not the way it should work

The database was a copy of a running 4.21 system and the conversion script was generate with 4.40

Thanks Detlef kroeze

Hi,

Yes, that isn't right... the migration script should only contain the necessary statements to update the schema to the latest version, not all the same queries as in the create-tables.sql file.

It will be best to open a support ticket (either email fortifytechsupport@hpe.com or open a case with your account at https://support.fortify.com) to get some direct help for this issue. In your ticket, please either summarise the issue, or even include a link to this thread for context, and a member of our support team will provide assistance.

Thanks,

-Josh
