FIPS-140 compliance - Disk Encryption

Does the new ZCM Disk Encryption comply with FIPS-140? I've tried searching but can't find anything that specifically states this, aside from an old reference to ZCM10. Might be worth Novell making it a bit obvious if so 🙂

I believe the new ZENworks Full Disk Encryption product is provided by
FinallySecure Enterprise from SECUDE[1]. The Benefits section on their
product page[2] lists "FIPS 140-2 Certification" under Compliance.

Yes I agree that if ZFDE is compliant then Novell ought to reference
that on their product pages so I'll feed that back to them.

HTH.

Re: FIPS-140 compliance - Disk Encryption

To further clarify, it is 140-2 Level 1 with Software FDE (SWFDE). If a Seagate Momentus Self Encryption Drive (SED) for Hardware FDE (HWFDE) is used, then this is FIPS 140-2 Level 2.
