Machine encrypted with FDE now comes up with invalid partition table

I have a machine I have encrypted with FDE that now boots and shows Invalid
Partition Table!

Using the FDE WinPE recovery CD I see the drive and it lists it as a NTFS
partition but the icon shows a red question mark and if I right click
decrypt drive is shaded out? I have a number of partition tools available
to me but don't want to try anything yet due to the encryption. Any ideas
on a good way to proceed?

Re: Machine encrypted with FDE now comes up with invalid par

Have you booted "through" the PBA before and logged into Windows? The reason I asked, is encryption will NOT start until you've successfully gone all the way through the PBA to into Windows the first time (if your policy specifies to require a PBA).
