Broke every itrc Google hit?

Did the implementation of the new HP forum Community break every Google result that included a link to a itrc page? It seems to have done just that. All itrc references drop the user on a greeting page at h30499.www3.hp.com.

Uggh!

Re: Broke every itrc Google hit?

pingman12 - it will take Google a while to re-index the communities (removing the links into the old forums and including links to the new homes for those same discussions here in this community).

Re: Broke every itrc Google hit?

It is going to take google a lot longer to produce good results since the new "forums" are full of bad links to the old itrc site.

Any plans to translate bad links to new locations?

This makes much of the content, which includes links to ITRC posts invalid.

Re: Broke every itrc Google hit?

Steven - yes, we'll be working on updating the links that point from one message to another.  It's going to take some time, but we'll be starting with the newer posts first and going back from there.
