C1 settings for GW domain location

Does anyone know how and where ConsoleOne stores the information for the
configured Groupwise domain location?
I want to make my app 'self-discover' as much as possible...

I've searched through the registry and the file system, but to no avail.
Is this stored in Unicode somewhere?

Thanks in advance,

Johan

Re: C1 settings for GW domain location

On windows, It's stored in C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\.consoleone\SnapinPrefs.ser

Format unknown to me though 😞

Suggest instead, that you instead store the path locally yourself, and simply prompt the
user the first time your app runs, and after that, checks the locally stored file

Re: C1 settings for GW domain location

Tommy,
thanks for the location. This looks like unicode; not surprising since it's
probably written by a java function.

I do this indeed (storing it in the registry), but I wondered how C1 stores
and if I could prompt the user with the C1 path pre-loaded.
I'll see if I can read the info in the file you pointed me at...

Thanks again!

Johan

Re: C1 settings for GW domain location

Not sure, since I never did this, but maybe you can find some info here:
