GroupWise 2014 R2 SOAP backward compatibility

Is GroupWise 2014 R2 SOAP API backward compatible with 2014 SP1? We want to upgrade but are not sure if it will break the SOAP interface from Blackberry BES 5.0.4. Blackberry haven't tested with R2.

Re: GroupWise 2014 R2 SOAP backward compatibility

The SOAP API uses a separate schema version.
It is independent of which version of POA you connect to.
(With the exception you can't add a new schema to older
POA's.)
You pass the <version> element in the loginRequest of the
schema you want to support.
Passing "1.06" will return back the schema data based on
what schema changes that were added up to GW2014.

Let me know if you have questions.
