Groupwise SOAP Schemas do not seem to be publicly available

Hello all,
I have been working with the GW 2014 SDK to configure an application to submit SOAP requests to our GW POA and parse the responses.
I can successfully submit requests and receive responses. However, when I try to parse a response by using , I receive the following error message:

XPath parser error: use of undeclared namespace prefix

When I look at the namespaces defined, in the SOAP response, I can paste the following namespace in a browser window and receive a result:
http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/

However, if I paste any of the Groupwise-related schemas in a browser window, I receive a DNS error:
http://schemas.novell.com/2005/01/GroupWise/methods

http://schemas.novell.com/2005/01/GroupWise/types

Do you know whether there is a new Micro Focus URL for the GW schemas?
I have downloaded the latest SDK, I believe

Thank you very much!
Dennis

Hi,
not sure about the error, but if you search for the latest WSDL file, you can find them (on linux install) here: /opt/novell/groupwise/agents/data/wsdl

We wrote the code to support sending the SOAP requests
either using namespaces or not.
It sounds like you are in between.

Can you send me a SOAP trace of your request and response?

Thanks.
Preston

Hi Dennis,

I don't think a schema actually has to be present at the namespace address.

"http://schemas.novell.com/2005/01/GroupWise/methods" is more like a fully qualified name, than an actual URL, where the schema would live.

As pointed out above, the schema files are included in the full linux or full windows files.

In a standard "next, next, next" windows install, they should be located under C:\Program Files\Novell\GroupWise Server\agents\data\wsdl

I think your error
XPath parser error: use of undeclared namespace prefix
has to do with using a prefix without assigning it to a namespace.

Thank you very much. It does seem to work. The issue was the Content-Type. I had to use Text/Xml for everything to function.

Thanks again!
