How to specify an internet address with double quotes

Dear All,

I'm trying to create a forwarding rule in groupwise 5.5EP using the token
API through the RuleAddActionForward() command. There is a "To" field
parameter so that I can specify the forward address as required. My
question is - How can I specify the forwarding address as

gateway:"userid@internet.com"

I get the failure message upon executing the command. The reason I need
the double quotes is that there will be missing address in the forwarded
message if flat forward switch is specified in the GWIA box.

Can anybody help ?

Thanks & regards...

I'm not sure I am following you, but I think you can build your parameter
with the chr function.

Re: How to specify an internet address with double quotes

Yes. I can build the string using the Chr function wihtout problem, but
the groupwise macro can't process the address field with double quotes
included. For example, the following macro call will fail

RuleAddActionReply
(;"Testingrule";232;"smtp:"userid@internet.com"";"";"test";"";"Message";)

Is this the limitation of the MACRO API ?

I need the double quotes to be included since there will be missing CC
field when flat forward switch /flatfwd is to be used in GWIA. Please
advise ?
