Invalid XML in response

Hello Preston,

I found had an error in the logic of my program.
I did a get items request with a filter, but the filter was missing the value as such:

<s:Envelope xmlns:s="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
xmlns:d="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/"
xmlns:i="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
xmlns:t="http://schemas.novell.com/2005/01/GroupWise/types"
xmlns:m="http://schemas.novell.com/2005/01/GroupWise/methods"
xmlns:e="http://schemas.novell.com/2005/01/GroupWise/events">
<s:Header>
<t:session>ZoofzT3qADRp8oQK</t:session>
<d:gwTrace>False</d:gwTrace>
</s:Header>
<s:Body>
<m:getItemsRequest>
<m:container>books</m:container>
<m:view>default</m:view>
<m:filter>
<t:element i:type="t:FilterEntry">
<t:op>eq</t:op>
<t:field>name</t:field>
</t:element>
</m:filter>
<m:count>-1</m:count>
</m:getItemsRequest>
</s:Body>
</s:Envelope>

The GroupWise Server then responds with malformed XML due to containing an erroneous <gwm:items> as such:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<s:Envelope xmlns:s="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xmlns:gwm="http://schemas.novell.com/2005/01/GroupWise/methods"
xmlns:gwt="http://schemas.novell.com/2005/01/GroupWise/types">
<s:Header/>
<s:Body>
<gwm:getItemsResponse>
<gwm:items>
<gwm:status>
<gwt:code>59905</gwt:code>
<gwt:description>Bad parameter passed to a NCSP function</gwt:description>
</gwm:status>
</gwm:getItemsResponse>
</s:Body>
</s:Envelope>

I normally would not bring this up, since it was provoked by an error in my code, however I usually get valid XML responses regardless what I send for requests.

I created a bug (1058168) to track the problem.
I put a fix.
The fix will be in a GW14R2 FTF build greater than or equal to 128433.

Thanks.
