I want to be able to Disable QuickViewer Smart Sizing (GroupWise 18.1) on post office or domain level.

Please and hurry cannot deploy the client with that on users will get sea sick.

A change is planned for the 18.2 release. While the quick viewer option wont be a client option it will be turned off by default.

We updated the back end but won't go to the new client until this is fix is ready.

When "smart sizing" is Enabled, when it changes between Regular, Wide and Extra Wide QV modes, it is also changing the "List Options" to "Summary" from "Columns" mode. "Columns" mode is the default for Regular QV mode. Keep it all "Columns" mode so the client is not jumping all over the place!

We also need a way to control this "smart sizing" from the GAC back end under "Client Options"

To Clarify. Quick Viewer enabled and Smart Sizing are two different settings in the client. This request was taken as Disable the smart sizing. Disabling Smart Sizing by default is what is planned for 18.2.

To Clarify. Enabling/Disabling Quick Viewer and Enabling/Disabling Quick Viewer Smart Sizing are two different settings in the client. This request was taken as Disable the Quick Viewer Smart Sizing. Disabling Quick Viewer Smart Sizing by default is what is planned for 18.2. Enabling/Disabling the Quick Viewer remains as a client option and can be set from Admin.
