Hi,
Can someone please tell me what this code means?
Scanning my log files, I find that random users get this message when
trying to log in to GWIM: SPL Login Failed [oxAE04]: Username - DDC:
Could not login or authenticate the connection.
Why does this message occur, and what does the code mean...?
TIA,
Plupp

Re: 0xAE04

This error probably means that the user entered the wrong password. Do
the same users cause this error? Do you see it consistently? If it
happens consistently when users are entering valid data, then it is a
problem.

Re: 0xAE04

Dirk,
I've found the problem.
In C1, on the users account I looked under Properties > Restrictions >
Login restrictions. Under Limit concurrent connections, Maximum
connections was set to "2". The user was logged in on two PC's, so he
wasn't able to log in to Messenger. I asked him to log out from the
second PC, and Voila! No problem to log in to Messenger.
Thanks anyway for your reply.
