18.2.1 Webaccess 404 Issue

Jump to solution

I upgraded our system today from 18.1.1 to 18.2.1.  Everything went well except Webaccess (not the new Web application).  I'm getting a 404 error when going to the webpage.  The error description is "The origin server did not find a current representation for the target resource or is not willing to disclose that one exists.".   I've already had to update the server.xml file because the update wiped out the custom certificate references that we used.  What other tomcat config files do I need to look at?

Thanks
Jeremy

Looks like something got corrupted during the update.  I had to uninstall webaccess/tomcat completely, restart the server, and finally reinstall 18.2.1.  Afterwards I replaced the default server.xml and webacc.cfg files with ones from our last backup.  Everything is back up now.

Likely vhost-ssl.conf has been overwritten with a let's say "generic" version. So apache might not use certstuff from a custom path.

I should have mentioned that our webaccess is running on Windows Server 2016.  I assume the file you mentioned is only on Linux?  I don't see it anyway.

Thanks

Good to hear. vhost-ssl.conf belongs to apache, so it doesn't play a role in a Windows offset.
