2014 R2 client and windows 10

Hi,

just want to (silent) install in above environment.
a) I got two messages while install
"no mail app assigned to perform the required action..."
"the DLL being called encountered a problem"

b) after installation the client will not run
same message as above "no mail app assigned..."
and "groupwise was not installed properly..."

using setup.cfg with these settings
....
[ShowSetup]
ShowDialogs=No
ShowProgress=No
ShowFinish=No
....

anyone here with same results?

Gotthard

Re: 2014 R2 client and windows 10

Hello,

JFF:
My co-worker found it.
The client archive contains dotnetfx.exe to install .Net 3.0 (or
whatever below 4.x). Windows 10 couldn´t deal with this install, you
have to run some boring stuff like dism.exe.
In this special case we had a normal workstation upgraded from win 7
pro, which already contains .Net 3and a brand new M$ Surface, which have
not .Net installed.
Details will follow.
