8.0.2 Broke AccessManager

We had Accessmanager in front of our webaccess server. We updated to 8.0.2 and now when attempting to access webaccess we get a login box from "NovellWebApplication"

No matter what you put in there it fails. Accessing web access directly to the web access server works fine.

Any thoughts?

Re: 8.0.2 Broke AccessManager

Two things:
a) clear your cache on the LAG's for your NAM setup (I've had it cache the "old" code for a while)

b) It probably re-wrote your config file and possibly re-enabled the security for "ip" which will mess up any proxy stuff.

Same problem here, it broke mine too. Didn't break when we went from 7.0.3 to 8.0.1, but broke after installing 8.0.2.

I rebooted the LAG. (Another way to clear cache?) The config file (webacc.cfg) preserved the Security.Authenticate.header and Security.Logout.Url entries that previously existed.

Access Manager is 3.0.4-38

Re: 8.0.2 Broke AccessManager

hmmm, mine's working fine with NAM 3.1.1 IR3a

Yes, you can click your LAG and choose Actions -> Purge all cache (or preferably create a purge list and go that route).

It sounds like you were using NAM for SSO with those settings in your webacc.

We're just front-ending the webaccess without SSO (and even then we'd use formfill).

Yes , it was the SSO. Turned it off and can now get into WebAccess through NAM.
