ActivSync 2.5 to 12.1

On GMS 2.01

What is the process for phones to start migrating from AS 2.5 to 12.1 ?

Does the phone require a hard re-boot ?

As far as I know they should just flip over without doing anything
special in *most* cases. In some cases, the only way to make it happen
is to delete and readd the account to the device.

Re: ActivSync 2.5 to 12.1

The Blackberries and Samsungs have converted but no Apple devices have

Should I just wait and see what happens - don't really want to delete
and re-create the users

Sure, you can try a little longer. If it doesn't happen, this doesn't
require deleting and recreating users or doing anything at all from the
server perspective. Just delete the account from the device and readd
it to the device.

We have a lot of iOS devices here. They eventually all changed over,
some just took longer than others.

Re: ActivSync 2.5 to 12.1

As of today (5 days or so later), about 10% of the Apple devices have
converted over.

Not surprising. I have 96 devices connecting...most are Apple. I
don't know how long it took because after a couple of days I quit
checking. But they all are converted now. No one had any problems.
It just took a while before they all registered the new activesync.

Re: ActivSync 2.5 to 12.1

Same here ...

They're changing over very slowly ...

Blackberry and Android devices are very quick
