Android/iOS app?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I see that there's no phone app
for messenger(....yet....maybe in 2020?). I was wondering if there's
any other instant messenger app like Beejive IM or IM+ that could be
configured to do the job.

Laura,
Did you happen to hear if there would be a Novell Messenger app coming out for iOS and Android?

Re: Android/iOS app?

Hi,

Yes a new version of Novell Messenger, code named Dillon, with iOS and Android support is being worked on as we speak.

When I have more information for you I will post back.

Re: Android/iOS app?

Is there anything more on the release date? Also does this release have AD support? With GW2014 I'm only keeping NDS alive for Novell Messenger. I won't be able to keep that up for much longer. There used to be something about AD support in the Novell Roadmap, but it seems to be gone now.

Look for a Q4 2014 / Q1 2015 release of Dillon. Unfortunately AD support will not be in this release. It is planned for the next major release of Messenger however we do not have an ETA for that release.
