Auto-Update failing

Just like GW8 pre-SP2, TID 7005327 - "There is new GroupWise software available, however..."

The POA successfully accesses this SDD on startup. All users have rights to this public folder (and can manually launch setup from there with the correct setup.cfg settings, and setupip.exe uses the same files and configs successfully.)

A known issue?

Re: Auto-Update failing

Solved. (Wireshark saves the day - packet trace showed missing path.) The Auto-Update mechanism is looking for \\server\volume\directory\SDD\client - whether you put the entire contents there or not - Be sure the SDD you define in ConsoleOne includes a "Client" folder, as if it were part of a complete SDD. So in my case, \\server\sys\public\client\gw2012 is the Software Distribution Directory path. In the folder "gw2012" is the folder "client", which contains /win32, /jaws, /docs, software.inf, etc.
