Automatically save attachments.

Hi,

My goal is to automatically save attachments from a certain sender address to a network folder.
There's no such action the GroupWise rules.
I found a Formativ applet called Save Message and Attachments. It does work but it's still a manual process. Ie cannot use that as an action in rules.

Any suggestions on how to achieve this?

Thanks!

Re: Automatically save attachments.

GroupWise rules can't do it. You'd need some kind of an external process. I did some googling and there are some python scripts out there that can do IMAP calls and download attachments. If you're not the coding type, I also came across this plugin for Thunderbird - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/filtaquilla/

Note that in the future we plan to have some sort of Filr integration. While I do not have any details on how this will work or when it will be released at the moment, it may solve your problem as well.
