Bulk change to user account visibility in address book?

Short story, we are planning to consolidate 2 domains into one by creating new post offices and moving 50 or so users, in order to have all "Org1" users in "domain1". Then we'll create a different "domain2" for "org2" with the intent that they won't have visibility to each other in the system address book.

Is there a way to bulk-change the 1500 or so users/resources already existing in domain1 from "System Visibility" in the address book to "Domain"? This is not a client setting so appears to be configured at the user account only.

As you may guess, we are moving from a single-organization model to providing service to allied public organizations, without wanting build new back-end for 20 users or to share "everything."
