C1 with GW8 snapins on GW7 system

Hi,

With previous versions there was no real problem when using new snapins on an older system. Is this still the case with GroupWise 8 snapins?
The documentations mentions GW8 snapins as supported on GW7 systems, but is it still possible to use GW7 snapins after looking at the system with GW8 snapins once?

Kind regards, Arjan

It's certainly "possible", but a truly bad idea.

And for lots of reasons - especially with the myriad of admin "changes" in
the snapins this time around.

Thanks for the reply. I will install a separate ConsoleOne with GW8 snapins to administer the test system until the migration is complete.
